Project Proposal

The project proposal is an overlook of the project, the theme, message or topic, and the topic of this project is to make the best rap music video out of the whole school. The people that are in the group to produce the rap music video are I, Maliek Jones, and Cedric Hawkins. All three of us will all have a 40 second verse and the topic will be on “Haters”.

Making a music video is a challenge, especially if you do not have the right stuff to produce the music video such as a video camera, a microphone, or a computer for special animations, but all that stuff is very easy to take care of if you have money and go search like a scavenger hunt. Writing literature the has a rhythm is a difficult challenge also because it has to be on beat and the ideas you are trying to rap about have to be clear for the audience to understand  and to comprehend. So choosing to make the best rap music video is a very competitive challenge and the reason being the choose that topic is because am a challenger, I love to take on hard obstacles that other people would just give up on. Also because I think if we really tried, as a group; we could sound like everyone else that gets famous for writing literature.

There are questions about rap, about how to make a video, how to rap, etc.. But there are questions being brought up to us for us to answer. Which are “How much do you know about rap?”, “Do you know what pauses and phrases are?’’, ‘’Have you ever heard spoken word poetry?” These questions are very good in-depth questions, but in order to answers the questions I would have to do a background research on written poetry, and the background of rap and how it came popular into the world and what it means to people and that will be showed in the rap music video that our group will produce.

What will need to be research is the message to the rap poetry and the back ground of rap. By understanding how the poetry got into the world and who brought it in and how it got so popular. Of course we known some of rappers that did great with there rap career which are 2-pac, Notorious BIG, Eminem, Lil Wayne, etc.. But we also want to know how they got famous for rapping. It wasn’t easy we all know, but research why they wanted to be different with different poetry?  What rap would do to the world? How do you reflect off to your personal life?

In order to find out this information I will go to some people that rap but do little shows in clubs or that are big in the rap game and will have a personal interview with them and ask them some questions about the topic and see what there answers are. And do some research online of famous rappers and watch videos of them being interviewed and get there answers and do a compare contrast will the questionnaire  on how the famous people answer they question to the in town rappers . But mostly my research will be online.

There are a lot of outcomes on the things you do or the outcome if you practice on one particular thing in other words practice makes perfect. But the outcome of the research is that I will know the rap game and the reasons being rap poetry. Also, to know the background of the rap poetry and how people connect it to there own events in there life. But the biggest outcome is that I will know how to make a rap because of there background information given will help me have a better understanding and will make me make my rap music video, perfect.

This topic is a great way to challenge yourself on something that you are not great at, but in order to be great at it you got to want to do it and actually take the time out the day and pick up a pencil and get it done like the rappers that were us but that now are famous.  This topic is viable because anyone can do anything they please just as long as they put their mind to it, you can get far with this topic in your own life if you take the time and actually love the topic, if you want this topic to be viable, take it as a sport and that you want to get better at the activity.
